Your story
This is what the Founder meant when they said that someday we would all be One. It was not a metaphor at all. They were simply stating a fact. This generation ship was to become the crucible. The start of a new unitary being. A shared consciousness made up of thousands of faces, thousands of memories, thousands of lives. All of the lessons learned in each life shared and understood with others in an instant of merging. It was beautiful.
You cannot believe how lucky you are to be alive right now, and to be right here.
Rahar and Auldron are your two life partners. You love and understand them, and it is for that reason that you know that neither will truly see this the way you do. Rahar wants everyone to agree, they are mild and heart-forward and want to please everyone more than they want any particular outcome. Auldron disliked Eshala. Everything they say about this situation will be coming through that lens. They felt inferior when Eshala was around, and this contraction in their own internal being was the root of their dislike. Everything they say now about wanting an individuated afterlife will be an after the fact justification obscuring the Truth ‐ they are afraid if they merged with Eshala that they would be subsumed or forgotten, rendered unimportant.
You understand finding Eshala difficult. You found them self-involved, thoughtless, and unreliable. They hurt your partners, and you found it hard to let that go. But ‐ it is for those very reasons that you do want to merge with them. You know that it’s possible to understand them fully, and with understanding would come forgiveness, and with forgiveness, ease and peace. You want that for yourself. And even more, you want that for those that you love.
You hope there is a way, a quiet, thoughtful way -- to gently lead Rahar and Auldron around to accepting the idea of becoming a merged consciousness. Eshala will be first to merge with Source, but later it would be you, and everyone else on this ship. You would all become such a rich, complex organism. Yes, it’s a bit scary to think about -- but that’s how you can tell you are taking this seriously. Is anyone ever truly ready to become something completely new? You just need to embrace the Unknown and Let Go.
