Love [Character 7.03]

Your story

You are Love. You treasure connection between people in all forms, especially sympathy, caring, kindness, compassion, affection, physical communion (in all its many forms). Some people call you shallow, but you're not. You're just nice.

Too often in the past, people took advantage of your kindness, charity, and sympathy. You would give and give, and get little in return. You had your heart broken over and over. You began to get angry at the world for treating you so unjustly. Then Harmony came into your life. They refused some of your help(!), but gently. Unlike the others, they showed you how to love wisely, how to take care of yourself as well as others, and how to let go of the idea that you could fix people if you did enough for them.

The Seekers include:

• Courage: They are so exciting! New things means new ways for people to connect. Sometimes it even means new kinds of people!

• Honor: It's hard to deal with them sometimes. People break rules to be kind, or because they don't have any good choices, or things like that. We should sympathize with them, not judge them. Trust comes from the heart, not the head.

• Wisdom: The so-called smart choice is not always the right one. These are people we're talking about, and people make mistakes.

• Piety: They love the divine, which is amazing. You haven't felt what they have, but so long as it makes them treat people well, you're all for it.

• Love: You. Your job is to remind other people to be kind.

• Harmony: Your lover, your friend, the first person in your life you could trust. You were headed down a path of heartbreak and anger; they saved you. You don't know what you'd do (or become) if they weren't here. Even the thought makes you a little crazy.

Some ideas for memory scenes:

• An encounter with Harmony, perhaps when they showed you tough love.
• An episode when you gave too much of yourself, or could have but didn't
