Oh NO! Your Noble Overmorph, Defender of the Morphic, Ultramarine is here, and frell, the TIME. You're late for the Launch. You just hope Ultramarine doesn't decide to make you the permanently late Lapislazuli. They've killed more senior cadets for insubordination, and you don't think the fact you're related is going to slow Ultramarine down one bit.

In fact, given that Deep Dark's mother, the Vortex of Chaos is also here, it means the entire Fleet can't be far behind. What have the three of you done? How are you going to talk your way out of this?

You're head is a little woozy from all the Lasko Radiation. Equations of Insight and Deep Dark can be a bit obnoxious about their hardware superiority. They don't have to worry as much about the weird things that happened in the primeval crypt. There were all kinds of gizmös and gadgets in there, each emitting odd electromagnetic signals that baffled your scanner.

It's all ancient tech, but there didn't appear to be anything that hadn't been reinvented in the eons since the Reahu Inevitability. Even that Alien Gizmö that Equations of Insight picked up...

Owww! It makes your brain hurt just to think about it. At least Equations of Insight left it behind. They left it behind, right? Owwww! If they did, how come it still hurts to think about it. That's not how Lasko Radiation works.

Maybe it's the time distortion fields that surrounded the primordial ruins, the fields that totally frelled all of your clocks and timers. Lasko Radiation can be a side-effect of some dimensional warping that causes localized time delays — sort of like the effects on time caused by travel close to the speed of light.

You're a well-trained scientist, long hatched from your egg. This is worth studying.

After 3 minutes: If it hasn't come out already, you realize that Equations of Insight is still carrying the Alien Gizmö. It hurts to even think about it, but it's there.
